    I just picked up a pair of the Veblens as well. They are very similar to my Florsheim Canfields (cap-toes).


    Overall, they are just OK shoes. The goodyear welt is great, but the leather uppers aren't the best (mine get terrible creases). One other gripe is that the stitching and details are VERY sloppy.


    All that said, for $108, it's going to be VERY tough to find a better shoe. Your next closest options are Allen Edmonds for around $210-$230 on sale, or Allen Edmonds seconds for around $150.
