I was wondering what people thought of things like the polo dress shirt that actually has the horse logo on the chest or the polo or Brooks brothers ties that have the logo all over them. I understand the casual Oxford shirts but for a dress shirt? Just seems to casual to me. I had a guy acting snobby in a suit with the polo logo all over tie and logo dress shirt and it just left a bad impression with me. Seemed like as y'all say "the clothes wearing the man" situations. This is just purely my opinion. I was wondering what the communitiy's view upon logos is?

Logos are not decoration, avoid them and keep them as small as possible. I think Polo is lame for having such status put into their logo, but also because they actually start making Big Pony logo shirts and stupid over decorated rugby and polo team shirts that idiots who know k=nothing about it buy.
Logos are not decoration, but Ralph Lauren mistakingly uses them that way.
Logos should be rare and hardly noticeable, that is a rule of good classic styling.
