Chinos with dress shoes? Twill Suit Pants worn leisurely?

Hey guys, I recently received both

http://www.bonobos.com/jet-blues-straight-leg (Great fit, end needs tailoring, crotch came unraveled, so probably exchanging/returning)

http://www.bonobos.com/vineyardsuitpant-navy (looser fit, needs all around tailoring, maybe even order another size)

They both seem even steven in casual and formal, but as much as I'd love to keep the Jet-Blues chinos, the stitching on the seams has me worried it's too casual. You can see what I mean down the center in this "behind" shot.

Could I wear the chinos with blazer, tie, dress shoes? If no,

Could I wear the suit pants with a tee and casual shoes?

Feel free to let me know how crazy I sound!

IMO it's easier to dress up the chinos than dress down the suit pants. I don't think you can pairs those suit pants with a tee and sneakers.

Onto the chinos: I guess that depends on your definition of blazer, tie, and dress shoes. I would say you could get away with a casual sport coat material (tweed, chino, worsted, camel etc). Same goes goes for the tie - knit or wool, preferably not silk unless it has a casual plaid/tartan pattern, etc. Dress shoes - beat up wing tips, nice long wings, bucks, even plain toe textured/smooth oxfords, etc will work. I probably wouldn't wear cap toes or any balmorals. Some wing tips may also be too formal; I have some AE Lombards in mint condition and I they didn't work well with chinos last time I tried to pair the two together.

    My Measurements: 6' 1" height, 35" sleeves, 41-42" chest/jacket, 35" waist, 34" inseam, 11.5D/EEE shoes, 200 lbs

+1 on Yak's points, avoid bals and closed toe wings...

Thx guys. Yeah for a while there I thought I was going crazy. Once I wrap up the 'essentials' portion of my wardrobe, I'll revisit getting another pair of navy pants. But I have to say, the material of those Vineyards are fresh.
