For the record, if I were to buy these shoes, I would wear them as casual shoes, especially in warmer weather. I actually stumbled across them while browsing for possible upgrades or replacements for my grey suede bucks, which are starting to look a little haggard after two years of hard wear.

The colored laces are a good idea. I think the shoes would look great with some bright blue or red laces. I've also considered the possibility of giving them the Joe Stafford boot treatment with a shoe cream in a slightly darker color.
