    Safely shrink leather gloves?

    Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum so this is my first post. I recently received these in a small but they are still a little big. I'm hoping I can shrink them without ruining the leather. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

Wet the gloves a bit and put them on for a while. They'll shrink a bit and stiffen up as well. Then use some leather cleaner and conditioner on them to get rid of the stiffness. If they're only a little big on you, that should take care of it.

My experience is that leather gloves stretch. Not shrink. Some tailors work in leather as well. That might be your best option if you really want to keep that pair. Or find a better fitting pair

I agree with Gump, and I would add that you should not expose your leather goods to water if you want them to last.

Thanks guys. I can't find any smaller ones for around the same price so I'm just gonna stick with them for now. Assuming I like them I'll pick up a smaller pair next year.
