    Driving Loafers

Need a pair of brown driving loafers. What do you guys suggest?

I've got the Clarks and I like them. They're not going to be warm or deal with fall weather well though. I got mine for $70 at DSW, but I saw them at the end of the summer at the Clarks outlet for $50.

When it comes to shoes, my general advice is this:

        1. Check your local thrift shops before you buy new (you never know what you'll find for $5).

        2. Look through Sierra Trading Post before you buy new shoes elsewhere at full price. I've found that STP consistently has the best sale prices and a surprisingly good selection of dress and casual shoes (considering they are an outdoor store). They don't always have what you're looking for, but when they do, it's almost always the best price available. I got my awesome new Timberland Earthkeeper moc toe boots there for $50+shipping, vs. the retail price of $110.

Here are a couple options from STP:

I agree with BenR (there are so many ben's on here now) on looking around the internets. I think I found mine on zappos for 60 last year

@ Ben - Haha, my login is actually something else, but I've been posting on Dappered.com under "BenR" for so long now that it would feel weird to change it....
