But does anybody watch the new Hannibal series on NBC? Hannibal dresses very well (except buttoning both jacket buttons and really huge tie knots, but it might just be a statement)
Also: Mad Men, come oooon!
As far as movies go: A Single Man very nice, but not surprising, Tom Ford directing.
Gosling in (well, everything) Crazy Stupid Love is my "ideal". Carell wears the typical menswear according to most stores, so seeing the contrast between ill-fitting and overly casual clothes vs. someone who understands fit and finish is pretty stark.
I can't think of a more perfect visual metaphor for this site than most of the scenes between them.
500 Days of Summer was good for a few ideas. I recently watched the Untouchables and Costner and even Connery's getups were cool (Armani did the suiting).
I just saw Dream House last week. The performances were strong but the movie was fairly horrible. Regardless, Daniel Craig's wardrobe had some pretty good examples of cool casual stuff. Part of that, though, is that basically anything looks good on you when you're that built.
I'm having trouble thinking of other movies at the moment, particularly since a lot of the movies I like are either old or set in some time period not our own. I agree about Inception, though. As I recall, the Joseph Gordon Levitt character was the best-dressed in the film.
