How did everyone do on BF+CM?

Not sure whether this should go under "recent purchases" or not, my apologies if it should.

But I was wondering how did everyone do on Black Friday and Cyber Monday this year? Heard a lot from the electronic/techie side of the market that this thanksgiving weekend has been mostly a bust, but personally I think the clothing industry offered some nice deals. Below are what I got and their prices:

    Express

1MX EXTRA SLIM FIT STRETCH COTTON SHIRT $23.94
    SKINNY SILK TIE* $15.94

    Macy's

Perry Ellis Belt, Full Grain Leather Belt $16.99
Perry Ellis Belt, Reversible Leather Belt $16.99
Perry Ellis, Portfolio, 10 pc Grooming Kit $16.99
Perry Ellis Belt, Webbed Leather Trim $16.99
Gold Toe Socks, 4 Pack Clocking Dress Socks $8.49

    Levi's

514 Slim Straight Jeans Tumbled Rigid $26.40

    J Crew Factory

Factory Slim Button-Down Navy Gingham $26.00
    Factory Merino V-neck Sweater $32.00
J Crew Factory Thompson Suit Wool Pants $70.12
J Crew Factory Thompson Suit Wool Jacket $121.13
Factory Slim Button-Down Oxford Shirt $28.47

    JCP

Jcp Long-Sleeve Oxford Shirt Corporate Blue $20.00

    Aldo

    Aldo Neverson (Dark Brown) $49.99
    Aldo Sustaire (Black) $41.99
    Aldo Haboush (Bordeaux) $44.99

    Amazon

    Skagen Men's 858XLSLB Black Dial $59.99
Clarks Original Men's Desert Boot Beeswax $77.35

    H&M

    H&M Khaki Cotton Sweater $19.99

    Total ~$800

What do you guys think of my list? Got some deals or not so much? And what did everyone get that makes them happy this thanksgiving weekend?

I would say you did well. Only thing I can really comment on is the Skagen watch. They look nice but my experience with them is they are fragile and of questionable quality so take care with it.

I think I did ok. All prices after tax/shipping.

    Express

    4x 1MX shirts ~$22 each

    Club Monaco

    Dark Grey Cord Blazer $80

    Gap

    Admiral Blazer Navy $67

    Banana Republic

Slim fit saturated mini-check shirt Navy $38

    Amazon

    Allen Edmonds Walnut Strand $185

    Karmaloop

Naked and Famous slim guy Broken Twill Selvedge Jeans $80

    Bonobos

Various Slim Straight Chinos...not sure which I am keeping @ $60 each

I kinda regret not jumping on a Dragon Inside suit but they are still available so I may do it yet.

Will be interested in how the tux turns out. I'm really debating about buying one. Curious as to how dark blue it actually is.

Took it easy, only ordered the navy Jcrew factory suit pants and found the matching jacket on ebay for 60 bucks nwt. Whole suit was under $150, in Canada, where the cheapest it got was about $225 after tax.

Oh almost forgot, got a navy shawl sweater from Frank and Oak also.

Grabbed a pair of Levis for around $25-30. May have them slimmed (the 505 thighs fit me well but I would like the legs to be a bit slimmer).

Non BF special purchases: Kenneth Cole 'Show Business' messenger bag from Amazon. $115, says it's full-grain leather, and should last me a few years hopefully, and a tan Haggar belt. Still considering picking up a few ties from The Tiebar, but that can always wait.

All in all, I was pretty restrained this BF, though I had a goal of not spending much because of recent purchase (Navy blazer, LE donegal jacket, Fifth Avenues, CT shirts, LEC sweaters).

I bought nothing but shoes... 10 pairs of AE's, to be exact, for a grand total of $1000 + tax.

I won't keep them all, though. Just waiting to see what they look like when they come in... If they all come in. Black Friday was a mad house for them.

I blame this thread for pushing me over the cliff.

Add one Grey Dragon Inside suit - $240 to my list

haha its not necessarily a bad thing - at least you get a good suit! but I just checked the site, how do you get it for $240? I see they are about double the price isn't it?

I'm too tired to remember the exact prices of things right now, but I did okay.

3 piece grey suit from Express ($240). I found out about Dragon Inside after I got home at 4 am so I will probably return this. I also don't need anything more than a blazer right now but it took me 30 minutes waiting in line outside of the store, 10 finding the separates, and over an hour standing in the checkout line so I wasn't going to leave that place without a haul. And the store had the last laugh.

1 Charcoal Blazer from Dragon Inside with the code.

1 Taylor Stitch Navy Blue Mechanic's Shirt. They had a code for sale items so it ended up being $85ish after sales tax. I hate sales tax. It ruins my day.

1 brand new Kent BLK4 Shaving Brush off eBay. Not a BF or CM deal but it was the best price I could find on the internet. I daresay that it'll outlast the rest of what I got.

I also wish I'd gotten socks and a messenger bag/briefcase. You can never have too many socks.
