LEC Sale...up to 40% off. Free Shipping $50+

Ok, I'm sure we've all seen it (cause I can't be the only one who checks LEC every

But LEC is having their up-to-40%-off sale and I see a few good picks to check out:

Crosby Moc Toe Lace Up Boot: $50 off now, $100 H=IDX_Sale-_-Men&origin=index

Leather Lace Up Boot: $50 off, now $100 H=IDX_Sale-_-Men

    Slim-Fit Jeans, now $15 H=IDX_Sale-_-Men&origin=index

Heritage Straight Fit, as low as $13 H=IDX_Sale-_-Men&origin=index

Promotion Code FSCANVASFALL and PIN 1109

    Shipping is free over $50

    Nice picks.

The chino blazer at $38 looks like a steal:

    My Measurements: 6' 1" height, 35" sleeves, 41-42" chest/jacket, 35" waist, 34" inseam, 11.5D/EEE shoes, 200 lbs

i also posted this in the non-specific deals thread:

re the new LEC sale ... use promo code MJ11 PIN 4423 to get free shipping (which you already get) and $10 off orders over $50.

I wanted a pair of shoes that were now $45 (down from $78!). I added a $6 pocket square to bring the total to $51, then added the above promo code, and bought the final price down to $41. Sweet!

Snagged the blazer and a pair of the Heritage straight fit in indigo. Also got a pair of shorts for $5 to put it over $50 for free shipping. Thanks!

EDIT: damn flipper I wish I had seen your code sooner. Oh well!

Actually Lands End customer service on chat was willing to change the coupon for me, they are very helpful.

However that code doesn't apply to clearance items of which I had used a pair of shorts to get over $50, so I was $2 shy. They would have been willing to add another item to my order, but I just said it was ok to leave it as is.

How is LEC sizing? It seems that the reviews on their website always, consistently say they run large.

I'd say it def runs large

LEC runs large. For curiosities sake I just tried on a few of my polos from other brands and compared them to the LECs I just bought for $9 ea (!). These sizes all fit me well:

                L in Perry Ellis*

                L in Express

                M in LEC

                M in BR**

                * - Slightly more loose | ** - Slightly more snug

                For reference, I'm 6'1" 205 lbs, 16-1/2 x 35 shirts, 42/42L jackets, 35" pants

                My Measurements: 6' 1" height, 35" sleeves, 41-42" chest/jacket, 35" waist, 34" inseam, 11.5D/EEE shoes, 200 lbs

Tempted on the brown Indy boots--anyone seen them in person? How's the leather? For $49 bucks that's almost too good to pass up...

are you looking at a different pair of boots? the lace-up boots are $100, I think you're thinking of the discount (but $49 would be a steal though!)

                      Indy boots for $49? Link?

I have a serious case of boot-lust for these:

                        thanks for the code, flipper!

Got a couple pairs of Heritage Straight Fit jeans for my Dad, ha!

ok, ordered smalls instead of mediums based on people's advice. I'm one of those barely-medium people. Let's hope the smalls aren't too tight!

grabbed a pair of jeans, slub long sleeve shirt for cheap/light (I get hot easily) layering and a cord jacket

Received the LEC chino blazer in navy today and it fits well. Don't really care for the inner lining on the sleeves though.

Does anyone have any experience with trying to remove something like this? Is it as simple as just cutting it with scissors?

What does the lining look like? Try turning it inside out (sleeves too) and post a pic
