    American Living?

I went into JC Pennys at the mall the other day and noticed they completely expanded out there American Living brand. Looking though they have some really great classic staples that are hard to find. My only complaints is sometimes its just a little too expensive and I noticed some kinda big fits. I usually get mediums as far as shirts go but I found myself looking for smalls but couldn't find them. Whats your take on this brand?

I find AL shirts at my jcpenny on sale all the time for 19.99 or cheaper. I also am usually a true meedium and bought sz small. Great for cheap basics like OCBDs and giingham button downs. Ralph Lauren makes the brand exclusivly for jcpenny.

I would also like to know how this brand stacks up in regards to quality/price. Looked like a cheap JC Penny house brand to me (which I guess it is), not knowing about the Ralph Lauren collaboration. Not a fan of the logo either, though I'm not much of a logo guy in general.

My friend has an American Living contrast collar shirt. Material seems very nice, design is excellent. However the fit is painful, he's swimming in it. I think he should have gone a size down, but that may not have been a complete fix. Tailoring seems essential on these, but then again that is the norm for 90% of OTR dress shirts.

Horrible fitting along with the hideous logo. Please avoid.
