    Fair Isle Sweater

Anyone have a good suggestion? I am looking at this one but guessing the L.L. Bean traditional fit won't be great.

I love fair isle sweaters, they're one of my favorite parts of winter! If you live somewhere that experiences a true winter you'll want to go wool rather than cotton. Also, a loose fit is part of the charm with a fair isle knit, so I wouldn't worry about it being too baggy. There are plenty of options at various price points; I would provide links but they're usually not released until late fall but here's a list of retailers to keep an eye on:

J.Crew (can often go under $100 with a sale)
    Ralph Lauren ($200-$300)
    William Lockie (+/-$300)
    Jamieson of Scotland (https://www.endclothing.com/us/jamie...c-748a-11.html)

This. I got a J Crew Lambswool fair isle sweater last year on a mondo sale. It's warm AF but it's great for being outside. Chances are they'll repeat something similar.

Amazon makes some lambswool fair isle sweaters under their Goodthreads brand. I have the sweater in solid burgundy and it's my favorite, but every time I've tried to order another (including a fair isle), I've been disappointed in the fit. I guess the lesson is that they're great if they fit, but the fit is inconsistent.

Lockie and Jamieson are good recs. I'll also throw in Howlin', which to me look to have more modern/slim/trim fits.
