    Dressy chukka boots around $200?

Looking to replace some John Varvatos Chukka boots I used in the past.

Main use cases: Wearing with jeans to bars with and with a blazer.

    Wants:
    - Medium brown, reasonably good quality leather. Don't want it to look super plastic-y. Doesn't have to be super high end either though.
    - Dainite sole would be nice. Regular leather is fine though since I could add a rubber topy/etc. Just don't want rugged/commando style soles
    - Goodyear or blake stitching. Maybe could give this up.
    - $100-$200 range, maybe a bit of wiggle room up to $250 if needed. Don't want to spend a ton since I may wear these to bars as well and they could get beat up.
    - NOT allen edmonds. Their stuff just never fits me well, and I actually don't think their quality is that great.

Can't beat Meermin at this price point.

The Spier & Mackay chukkas tick off most of your boxes except the brown leather option is dark brown. With the sale this weekend they come in right at the max of your price range.

This one has everything you ask for, including price. I have two pairs of Herring shoes. Both excellent. They generally contract with the best shoe makers in England and Europe

This is nicer, but $236. Made by Barker.

These from Beckett Simon are quite nice. I have a friend who likes his BS shoes. I don't have any:

If you're up for suede, Brooks Brothers has some outstanding deals right now--these for $200:

And these are amazing wonderful shoes that are worth the extra money over $200 because Cobbler Union makes wonderful shoes and they are on sale:

I'll second the Beck Simonon boots mentioned above. I bought a pair of Chelsea boots from them in the fall and they're great. Leather is good quality, stitching is well done. The only knock is the wait time for them to arrive.

You can replace those boots from other companies such as Heschubg, Clarks Originals, Tod’s Classic and many more. Hope it will be helpful.

If you're still looking, these are on sale for only $129 and don't appear to be glued together. I'm guessing Blake. But some of Florsheim's upper range is Goodyear.

You might be able to find them in a brick and mortar to try on. Nordstrom carries them, but they aren't on sale there
