    Replacement Laces

Anyone have any good sources for shoe laces? I'm specifically after some round dress boot laces around 43" long. Allen Edmonds has some 48" ones that might work but will probably be a tad too long. I'm wondering if anyone has any other sources for laces.

I replace AE laces with Alden laces, which are superior, but also somewhat expensive and hard to find.

I've purchased a few sets of replacement laces for my boots from Benjo's. They're good quality and have a nice selection of colors.

Guarded Goods have good laces but they appear too long per your requirement.

I just look to Amazon for something like laces. Haven't been disappointed yet.

My Alden laces on my Indys broke within hours of walking out of the store. Guarded Goods is the go-to.

What about The Tie Bar's laces? I actually bought a couple pairs early in the pandemic with an order of masks, but haven't put them in my shoes yet, or even worn my shoes, in over a year, so I can't comment on how they will hold up long term.

I haven't personally used them but they look fairly decent. If you're traveling it's probably wise to toss a spare pair in your suitcase (which I do regardless of the label on the laces) just in case. But then I'm a little nutty so I do things like that, expecting Murphy to rear his ugly head anytime.
