Help with measurements for Spier & Mackay custom clothes

Hi there! I was wondering if anyone had any guidance on how to measure when ordering custom clothes from Spier & Mackay. I'm looking to order some custom trousers and am unclear where I should measure to make sure each of the requested measurements is accurate. I looked at my Black Lapel measurements, and those are very different than what auto-fills on the Spier site when I select a 38" waist, contemporary fit to start modifying:

    Waist: 39.50
    Hip: 47.00
    Thigh: 29.50
    Hem: 17.30
    Trousers Length (Inseam): 32.00
    Rise: 11.20

Anyone here have any suggestions? I've reached out to Spier but haven't heard back, and want to take advantage of the sale they're having on some custom fabrics. Thanks everyone!

The written sizing guide gives comprehensive instructions on where and how to measure the body, and how that will translate into clothing measurements: https://www.spierandmackay.com/Sizing

Suit Supply measures the same points on the body as S&M and I believe has videos to demonstrate how.
