I second Minty on sticking with natural wool. The synthetic fabrics will make your feet sweat, which will feel gross. It’s worth it to spend a little more money for real wool slippers. LL Bean is a great starting point.

I like warm feet in the winter, but I am very sensitive to overheating in fuzzy slippers. I've found that the issue for me is the material used in the slipper construction. Synthetic linings and/or synthetic blends used in the uppers make my feet way too hot after only 30 minutes or so of wearing.

The solution? For me it's been sticking to all-natural slipper construction. My favorite winter slipper for a few years now has been the Armor-Lux (https://www.armorlux.com/en/500-slippers). 100% wool (no blend) inside and out. Breathable yet warm. I can wear these all day long without overheating.

    Wool slippers

I have an inexpensive pair of felt/wool slippers with fuzzy lining, and they're great, but they get really hot after a while. Would they feel better without the lining? With just the wool felt? Anyone know of a slipper like this?

These seem to be what I'm describing, but boots not slippers.
