Of the four pairs that might have been second or third in a style listed below as recent acquisitions in my post from November 18, I kept two:

    - AE Strand in chili weave [would be #3 after walnut + brown suede] KEPT
    - AE McAllister in bourbon [would be #3 after brown + merlot] RETURNED
    - AE Cornwallis in coffee [would be #2 after walnut] KEPT
    - AE Carlyle in coffee [would be #2 after bourbon] RETURNED

So, my current list of shoes that I have in multiple colors is this:

3x AE Strand [walnut leather + brown suede + chili weave]
    2 x AE McAllister [brown + merlot]
2 x AE Dundee 2.0 [brown suede + loden suede]
    2 x AE Dalton [bourbon + walnut]
2 x AE Neumok [green leather + cherry suede kudu]
    2 x AE Cornwallis [walnut + coffee]

As I returned the bourbon McAllister, the list of colors that I have multiple pairs of remains:

AE walnut: 3 [Strand, Cornwallis, Dalton]
    AE bourbon: 2 [Carlyle, Dalton]
    BS bordeaux: 2 [Hoyt, Nolan]
    AE brown: 2 [McAllister, Kenilworth]
AE brown suede: 2 [Strand, Dundee 2.0]

Not exactly the same, but I own AE Park Avenue in black and AE Fifth Avenue in brown. They serve the same purpose and look similar enough, I just choose depending on which color looks better with the suit/tie that I am wearing.

Sadly no, 9B in Indys is all they've been able to size me for. Apparently they don't carry nearly ANYTHING in a B width to even try on, and refuse to order for me unless sizing is determined prior. The DC store is horrible.

I have two pairs of the J. Crew Macalister desert boots in different colors. I switch between them every other day at work during the spring and summer. I just ordered a second pair of the Kenton cap toe boots in a different color, and I'll do the same with them in the fall and winter. It keeps things very simple.

Oh, here's what you get if you reverse the OP and ask how many color ways do you own in multiple styles, for me:

AE walnut: 3 [Strand, Cornwallis, Dalton]
AE bourbon: 2 [Carlyle, Dalton] + McAllister en route
Beckett Simonon bordeaux: 2 [Hoyt double monk strap, Nolan brogue boot - akin to the AE Dalton]
    AE brown: 2 [McAllister, Kenilworth]
Love this, not least because this one actually allows me to participate, too

    AE Walnut: 2 [Strand, Carlyle]
AE Chili/Dark Chili: 2 [Dalton, McAllister]

AE Exchange Place in black and brown. A discontinued model, basically a Park Place with a slightly sleeker last.

You'll be glad to know then that I recently ordered several more pairs of shoes that would be second or third colors of a style:

    - AE Strand in chili weave [would be #3 after walnut + brown suede]
    - AE McAllister in bourbon [would be #3 after brown + merlot]
    - AE Cornwallis in coffee [would be #2 after walnut]
    - AE Carlyle in coffee [would be #2 after bourbon]

I'm not going to keep all - for one thing, I only ordered the Carlyle because I got an e-mail from AE saying that they ran out of the Cornwallis and wouldn't be shipping it. But after I ordered the Carlyle, they shipped the Cornwallis!

Anyway, the first three should arrive tomorrow and the Carlyle sometime after that. I also ordered the Nomad chukka in spice brown.

My recent shoe purchasing has been out of control! But between June 2018 and the moment boredom really hit in April 2020 after a month of barely leaving the house, I had only bought one pair of shoes (Grant Stone long-wing in dune/natural chromexcel. Talking of which there is definitely a chance that I will at least order some more Grant Stone during their Labor Day sale and that would likely include another long-wing, either in coffee suede or crimson chromexcel). I promised my wife that on 1 December - the day after Cyber Monday - I will go on a purchasing hiatus for a few months. She understands, though: it is not as though we are spending money on much else, other than takeout. We usually have a big trip each summer and a small trip each winter, but instead only had two nights away camping this summer and won't travel at all this winter.

I own 4 pair of Nike Killshots in various colors. None of my dress shoes are the same. Taking it a step further I own multiple colors of Uniqlo's merino sweaters in various colors.
