    Everlane belt (vs. Tanner goods?)

The belt I wear most days (brown leather, $20 Nautica) has gotten pretty beaten up, so I'd like to upgrade. Has anyone tried the belts from Everlane? $40 for "Italian leather", 1" thick, look to be decent quality: https://www.everlane.com/collections/essential-belts-mens/products/slim-belt-brown-mens

I'm also considering the "Skinny Standard Belt" from Tanner ($95), which looks great but is more than twice as expensive. Is it worth the money? http://www.tannergoods.com/products/skinny-standard-belt-cognac-copper

Suggestions for other belts are welcome -- I'm looking for basic brown leather, gold or silver buckle and reasonable quality.

I liked the quality of Everlane's leather, very soft and has a nice feel. However, it's pretty thin and pretty narrow in person - almost feminine looking. Buckle is an interesting design, but is obviously pretty cheap. It's obvious to me they skimped on the buckle and amount of leather to reach the price point.

Orion Leather Company is the sort of go to for cheap decent quality leather belts. Leather is pretty stiff but same price for a nice sized belt and a good buckle. I would expect a high end belt to offer the best of both worlds, but I'm not familiar with Tanner Goods specifically.

I like the look of wood and faulk belts (no idea about quality though)
