    Tailoring blazer armhole?

I've got the Gap Moleskin blazer. Fits like a glove off-the-rack but hte armpit hole is a little high and cuts into me. Are tailors able to adjust and widen the armhole? If so, what price point am I looking at?

not likely. Considering the amount of money it would cost to do anything relating to armholes, its almost impossible to add material to your jacket. As you want to make something wider, but there is no excess material anywhere on the jacket to cut from. You may want to continue to wear it and the laws of gravity and stretching will take effect.

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum - I have a blazer that fits well in the shoulders and torso, but the armholes are a little low. Brought it to my tailor to raise the armholes, and my tailor quoted me a price that well exceeded the cost of the jacket and still couldn't really guarantee it would turn out right.
