What do you think of these boots?

Chelsea wingtips...I like em'! Of course, like many brands on Yoox I know nothing about them besides these being made in Italy. Really thinking about taking a gamble on these and purchasing.

nice find. As you said - no idea about quality. If you can return them, totally worth the gamble at this price. The liner also looks good.

I'm not a chelsea person, but if I were, I would be interested. The lack of any info is disconcerting, though.

          Nice SDot. Agreed.

Why not try the Brown Stafford boots pimped out on the home page?

IMO they look better, and at $60, not much of a gamble in comparison.

However, you like what you like, and if you can pimp it....go for it.

          Cheers

Eh, to each his own, right?

I guess I've never been much a fan of chelsea boots either. I think it stemmed from the lack of "activity" in the uppers. I think the broguing makes these much more interesting. I can see incorporating them into my business casual work attire and with dark denim.

I don't like them. It's like they don't know if they want to be a Chelsea or a Wingtip. I agree with the suggestion above to get the Stafford Wintip, or one of the many other nice looking Wingtip boots out there. I don't like Chelsea boots.

I have a pair of Bass Chelsea boots. They're okay, but without laces, there's a bit of slop as you walk around.

I like chelsea boots, but I like them plain.
