Mirage is a great hotel for the money in Vegas. Seeing any Cirque du Soleil shows? Mystere was good - next time I go back I want to see Ka.

@ Alan, at least I'll be winning somewhere.

@Jared, great suggestion. We're staying at the Mirage. I know we plan to go to Lagassi Stadium at the Palazzo. Probably catch the Bears game in the sports book but we're free otherwise. They are animals in every sense of the word.

Packing is now complete! thanks, guys.

Sounds pretty great to me. I think you'll be dressed better than most of the others. An unsolicited suggestion - if you guys are animals (read: carnivores), hit up Holsteins in the Cosmopolitan for some burgers for dinner. It is the perfect dinner venue for a guys night out.

Vegas, inspired by Joe's well dressed traveler post

Headed to Vegas for a quick boys weekend with some coworkers....who are animals. Absolutely silly group of non-style conscious, great guys. Anyway,I'd like to dress it up a little with a sport coat or a grey suit but I haven't had the time to take either of those things in to my local tailor to get the cuffs shortened, and having other suits that fit now, I can't go back to off the rack.

I do have a tailored khaki linen/cotton blend suit jacket from BR (that I wore when I got married on the beach) that I wore to a casual wedding this weekend with blue trousers and received lots of compliments on it. Would it be odd to wear that with some dark denim this weekend out at the casinos? I have a nice blue gingham shirt I've been waiting to try with it but I'm not convinced of that either.

Working...
