AE Daltons - how are you guys shining these bad boys?

My Dalton's are due for a shine; I've usually been taking them to my local cobbler, but thought I'd give these a shine myself; I have a tube of AE brown polish. How would you guys approach shining these boots?

When shining my AE's I brush with a horse hair brush

to get off the dirt then use the AE cleaner/conitioner

          - apply saphir cream polish

          - let dry

          - use flannel cloth to wipe down excess

          - buff w/ horse hair brush

          - apply saphir wax polish to heel & toe

I'd recommend heel/sole dressing too for touch up:

              Works wonders!

Keep in mind to use a veeeery small amount of polish. A lot less than you'd think. And resist the urge to shine them up too much or too often. They are nice looking dressy boots, but they look damn good a little broken in.

Those aren't mine but they do look great.

That is a hell of a handsome looking boot...

@Sigtweed - they are f'n fantastic, my friend! I'm sure you have the Alden/Wolverine crowd out there that would say they're the best, but in my price range, these are the best shoes (period) I've ever owned.
