Bar lace on shoes would look worlds better, I don't know what it is about that tie but I like the pattern and colours, knot looks a bit too tight/small.

@Shadow - Thanks, and good call on the laces and tie knot. The tie is pretty slim, only 2.25" at it's widest point, so it may need a bigger knot. The pattern is what drew me to it also. Has a nice pop to it, 100% cotton and I think I snagged it for about $7. A deal I couldn't pass up.

Dad got married (for a fourth time!) this weekend. The even was somewhat formal and the weather crisp, which made my decision as to what to wear for me.

I think you nailed the key to making a cardigan look good: it has to be well-fitted. Though it's a little too fitted for my taste, your figure makes it look good, particularly with the proportionate width of the tie. Good setup.


Also, a particular pet interest of mine is collar choice. I really like the long spread you have going on there, I really think it flatters most faces, particularly the rather oval-shaped like yours.
