    @Kenneth: Oops forgot to post deets today. Updated. As far as the pants: Here you go:

    http://canvas.landsend.com/pp/mens-madras-slim-refined-chinos~237558_-1.html?bcc=y&action=order_more&sku_0=::L59&CM_MERC H=IDX_men-_-pants-shorts&origin=index

    Hint: They can be potentially be had for under 20 dollars if a % off LEC promo comes about ;-)

      I almost bought those pants when they were on sale a while ago, glad I didn't because I don't have the guts to actually wear them out. Good thing the blazer of the same fabric doesn't come in a size 36, because if that ever got down to $50 I'd probably buy it and add it to my collection of things I never wear

        Oh, good night, that can be A SUIT.

          I'm having to stop myself from ordering that. I'm going somewhere so I don't do it. I don't need it... Don't need it...

                    Acoustic - I've been looking for a slim fit pair of olive pants since forever. any suggestions?

                      @harry: I'm wearing regular straight leg bonobos in my above WIWT, but you can get a slimmer cut with a BR emerson vintage or an LEX refined slim chino. Both can be had for a good price during sales.

                        @acoustic - here's a question for you, since i see you as the main blazer guy ;P.

                        - for your blazers, what kind of length do you prefer on them compared to a suit jacket? I have my jcrew thompson blazer that i'm finally planning to bring in to get work done on it and I feel like it could be about an 1" shorter. also buttoned or unbutton when standing/walking?

                        (http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o...s/f11795a2.jpg)

                        - did you receive your navy BR suit yet? I just got mine in

                        Comment

                          @itsm: I judge my suit jackets the same way I do my blazers and sport coats using the hand curl method, making sure it lies somewhere in the middle of my palm and covering my bottom. I also have a thompson suit jacket that is a little shorter on me than the traditional length that gives it a more "youthful" appearance, but if I could buy it over again, I'd opt for something with a more traditional length.

                          Hmm...looking at your blazer pic...it seems like the length could be 0.5-1 in shorter as you suggested, but it's also hard to tell without a full body shot. The hand curl and middle of palm rule only applies if you wingspan and height correlate tho.

                          As for the Navy BR suit...it's on its way!

                            Man, loving those olive pants! Really digging them with the strands and your socks, too. I have a pair of the olive LEC vintage fit chinos, but they taper a little too much for my taste. I'm a big fan of the color, but I'd eventually like to get something closer to the fit you have. If only they still carried them in the refined slim/straight fits!

                              I have Olive Dockers D1s that look pretty good.

                              Also picked these up recently:
