I have the same S&M suit and get compliments every time I wear it. Excellent choice.

Does this jacket work with the pinstripe? Or is it too busy I wasn't sure. I felt ok with it but I thought I'd ask.

I noticed that the skinny end of your tie looks longer than the thicker end--do you find that people generally don't notice/don't care, like the look, or give you weird stares? I've been very tempted to play with tie length in the same manner lately. In fact I had it tied that way this morning before adjusting because I felt like most people I interact with just wouldn't get it was an "intentional disheveled".

I've gotten the occasional comment on it but no one stares or anything like that.

It may come off as an affectation but for me this is just how most of my ties end up since I am relatively short (5'9") and like a very small tie knot (four-in-hand).

I don't think so, but if you wore it confidently call it spretzzatura and be pround. The conflicting angles between the vertical and canted houndstooth is what does it for me. I love the Blazer though. The tie also being patterned makes the pattern matching a little extreme.

                              Cheers.

Useknifeonly - I find pinstripe pants hard to wear outside of a suit. A heavy textured sport coat like that calls for some texture in the pants as well.
