Do you find the buttons on the bonobos jackets to be extremely cheap? I have a few of their blazers, and noticed today that they looked like really cheap plastic...

Honestly couldn't tell you, I got it off eBay along with a burgundy tie just like it.

How much do you love the Private White Jacket? I nearly picked one uplift week when they were heavily discounted. By the time they got back to me on sizing, it was back up to full price. Also, how do you find the sizing?

How much do you love the Private White Jacket? I nearly picked one uplift week when they were heavily discounted. By the time they got back to me on sizing, it was back up to full price. Also, how do you find the sizing?

I'm a big fan. I picked it up during the same sale a few weeks ago at heavy discount, but I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay full price for it. It's a substantial feeling jacket (whether you like that or not), and the copper hardware is nice. It's also a bit more breathable compared to my Barbour waxed jacket. I'm a 38R but typically need a bit more shoulder room so I went with a size 4 which corresponds to a 40. The shoulders fit well and the body is slimmer than I expected. If I were to wear a super chunky sweater then it would probably be a bit tight if I zipped all the way up, although I guess if you use the removable zipper section that'll add a bit more room.
