Clarks boots look nice and casual when I see them on other people but when I wear them, something just don't look right , I think because I'm almost 40 of modest height with big feet(for my height). I think these apply only to younger than 30 and tall men. I get the same feeling with my white stan smith shoes.

I don't think age is a factor on these. They are pretty classic. At the same time, I can understand that "they look fine on others but not me" feeling. That's how I am with polos. Just not a look I feel comfortable in. I will say I don't like CDB specifically though. They don't fit me well and are uncomfortable. Desert boots or chukkas in general are fine though.

BR 100% merino henley sweater. These henley sweaters rock, got lucky and scored 4 different colors off ebay for dirt cheap.
