What are y'all's thoughts on the length of these pants? The 32s had a full break while the 30s were just above the top of the shoe. I didn't want to tailor pants from Old Navy so I went with the 30s. Are short summer pants a super fashion-y thing? I thought they worked so I just went for it. Call 'em knickers* if you want but the breeze felt great.

Based on some advice from the fine people here in another thread, I've been working on feeling put-together without worrying about 'dressing up' too much. Haven't been taking a whole lot of pictures, but here are a couple looks from the past week or so.
Short-sleeve: Patagonia
Khakis: Old Navy
Sneakers: Adidas Stan Smiths
Yeah, a selfie. Whether you like it or not.
Jean jacket: Gap
Button-down: American Eagle
Cords: Levis
Boots: Red Wing Blacksmith, natch
Duncan
I know my username is dumb; blame 12 year old me.

No clients or court today so I figured I'd dress casual. Put on some chinos and a pink OCBD. Then I thought "my tan suede double monk 'bucks would work with this." Then I thought "I should probably wear a jacket to the office... my unstructured linen jacket would work with this." Then I thought "this outfit really calls for a bowtie."
And suddenly casual Tuesday is Kentucky Derby Tuesday....

If the fit is right and the items make sense together, you'll achieve far more by dressing to suit your own style and tastes rather than forcing something foreign on yourself.
