Reminds me of my go-tos, except I don't have monks (yours are nice). I love my burgundy Chipps, but I prefer a smaller knot, especially on Chipps ties which seem to tie thick

Thanks! I've given up on tying it to a smaller knot, such a pain. And Chipp Grenadines are definitely among my nicer ties.

My criticisms are just personal preferences across the board (dislike for sweaters under blazers and pocket squares).

Strong first showing -- but since you asked for criticism:

- this could just be the desaturated coloring in the pics, but it seems like a lot of different colors -- possibly navy, burgundy, black tie (?) and brown suede (?)... if those colors are right, I'd opt for a different tie (navy most likely)
- tie knot seems too straight with the body of the tie, and a bit small relative to the larger collar of your shirt

sidenote, is that a can of dip or bubble tape in your pocket, or are you just happy to see us?

Thank you! And thanks for the critiques! It is a navy tie, just bad lighting. So navy jacket and tie, burgundy sweater, Brown suede. As for the knot, I tied a double FIH but I must have sinched it up to tight. I agree with the size, but I was on a time crunch so I left it.

I'd tuck in the square a bit more, no more than ~1inch showing from the top of the pocket or it looks like a bouquet of flowers to me.

I'm not a fan of the navy tie + navy suit. Just a bit too matchy to me. I would have selected a blue tie, not navy, or something with a pattern to break up the solid monotony.

NYC Saturday casual, dressing up a sweatshirt or dressing down the button down -- just finally trying out this sweatshirt and thought the conflict actually worked well. Love the color and texture of the sweatshirt, hoping it'll shrink a tiny bit (100% cotton so it should)
