[MENTION=14632]ryan_betts[/MENTION] fit is decent, but the process to figuring it out was somewhat difficult. Long story short, they build the shoulders pretty strong on their jackets (consistent with what I've read elsewhere on the forum) so I ended up having to size down from 44L to 42L and have the sides let out to make it work (it's slim). Tailoring wasn't terribly difficult because they leave 3/4" at the seam, but it's also not necessarily a minor alteration and that's added cost on your part. Despite all of that, I'm still pleased with it -- it's a nice wrinkle to mix into the rotation every now and then and also a good value for $140 total investment (20% off $120 with code + $35 in tailoring). That's what I figured. Tailoring is much more expensive around me and would double the cost of the jacket to get that done. To get sides taken in usually start around $90 + $50 for sleeves.... Thanks for the information![emoji6]

That's an old (maybe 4 or 5 yrs) Donegal sweater that I bought from Orvis. Over the years it found it's way to the bottom and back of the sweater stack and I kind of forgot about it. I was straightening up the other day and found it and realized I had forgotten all about this one. It's well made, thick, and the soft suede leather around the throat latch is a pretty nice touch.
