Off to an "okonomiyaki" party with friends from work:
Sweater - Uniqlo Extra Fine Merino in light brown (really want a camel color but wasn't in the store when I checked Agee days ago)
OCBD - BB Red Fleece
Tie - Paul Smith wool tartan
Denim - J Crew 484s
Boots - LondonBase brogue boots
Timex Weekender w/ NATO strap
Not shown - navy JCF Walker quilted jacket for the evening chill

So this is my attempt at wearing a tie w/ denim as posted on the main board. Didn't realize until now the picture doesn't show the tie that well, a beautiful thick wool in a tartan check. While both my wife & daughter like the look (I guess that's all that matters too) I'm still in the fence with. I have a bunch of great wool ties & want to use them this season. I think next time I'll add a s/c to the mix and see how that goes.

Today was rather cool today in West LA, with a high in the mid 60's. This gave me a chance to wear a 3 piece flannel while attending some broker's opens.

EDIT: I normally don't wear my trousers cropped. I know someone will mention that. I e-thrifted this suit and have yet to have trousers lengthened. Thought it would look fine, and it did. I am going to lengthen them eventually.
