Shirt is black and white.
As for the tie, the diagonal stripes really blends with the black color so if your eyes aren't within couple feet away, they look like plain black.

[MENTION=13476]AsianDapper[/MENTION] Obviously just giving you a hard time with the gif. In all honesty, though, I do not think black works in non-formal settings. I am also not a fan of the tie pattern (I'm not sure if it technically qualifies as a self/shadow stripe, or what). It looks like the fit is good (yours tend to be), but to me this ensemble is a miss.

The monochromatic black/grey thing isn't traditional and is a very different aesthetic from mine - high urban businesswear or something - but assuming the fit is good (usually seems to be), I think [MENTION=13476]AsianDapper[/MENTION] 's outfit is successful for what it is.

Thanks for the feedback -- agree on socks. The color of the tie is easier on the eyes in person and contains a little more blue hue at least to my eyes, I had a hard time capturing it in a picture. (link is here from the website, but that's under similarly harsh lighting). I like that the texture looks like a houndstooth from afar but has more visual appeal up close. I think it goes well enough with the navy suit when the color isn't muted out by my bad iPhone photo taking skills, but probably would go better with a true blue suit for a more casual look.

I like it. It's a little loud, but not too crazy.
