Wore skull/crossbones pocket square (http://www.cladmen.com/on-sale/ties/...pouchette.html) to bar: probably-gay server dude goes: "well, I was going to say the square was gay, but the skulls make it not."

@srizzo: I like the jacket. I can't pull off non-wedding rings, but more power to anyone who can.
@Pitt: I like the combo. Then again, I did something similar today so I'm a bit partial.
@Greg: I didn't realize BR sold pants with that much personality. And I'm digging the socks! Classy yet interesting.

Yesterday at a ritzy baby shower with monocles.
Jacket - Target's Merona Kensington blazer
Shirt - Express 1MX surf blue with Wurkin Stiffs for the collar stays
Pocket square - Brooks Brothers Ombre Check, on sale for $10
Pants - my GTH red Dockers Alpha khakis that you've all seen too many times.
Shoes - brown Bass chelsea boots
Total cost for everything but underwear and socks: $111 (excluding the Wurkin Stiffs, they were a gift, so I just close my eyes and pretend I don't know what they cost)

@Nick: Glad to see you could make that Target blazer work. For me, the medium was too small around the torso and the large was too long in the arms.
Also, good on you for wearing those red pants. It takes guts since I'm sure they draw plenty of attention. I picked up the same pants in royal blue for $10 at JC Penney, but my wife convinced me to return them. Why do I listen to her... :-P
