Tried tassel loafers tonight for the first time. The grey Nordstrom "Slaters" that Joe recommended back at the beginning of summer are 50% off and I managed to snag a pair in my size. I still think they give off a bit of the old man vibe. I've also done this color palette before, so excuse the repetition, but it's been one of my go to combinations for late night get togethers where I'll be spending plenty of time outside.

Eric, the tassel loafers look great on you, man. I've tried a few variations of them, found at Nordstrom Rack (the ones you have there, another Nordy similar one in grey suede too, and some TBNY wine/burgundy leather ones as well. I love the look of all of them, but they just didn't seem to work well with my feet. Had to take a pass. Wear yours well!

I don't always get it to do that -- sometimes ties just don't want to, or the knot isn't shaped right.
