Bruschetta - Thanks. I'm noticing you like the more classic looks.

LukeDuke - Yes, that's a M. I'm in between sizes at BR - where a S fits me perfectly if the chest was 1" bigger. But the Club Monoco M seems pretty spot on for me. It's a lighter material so it will be good for the warmer weather. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that the shirt has to be ironed after washing.

@Tomas: I've really liked the puff PS method you've been showing.
@yoyo: The ashton's look very very nice. The more I see of that rotary here the more I want it.
@MarkB: I don't think it looks too boring. Gray white and blue is a classic color combination. It just doesn't stand out as much since everything is a solid even textured color but nothing wrong with that.
@Shomas: Another instant classic!
@Vicious: Nice! OTR blazers fits you so well!
@Mikey: Nice incorporation of colors to match early spring.
@LukeDuke: Nice. Color combinations are very clean and the socks add a nice touch

Trying to incorporate some lighter colors since spring is rolling up.
Unsure if these two lighter colors clash or work together tho.

Been a long time WIWT lurker, and have received a lot of inspiration/education from all, so thanks! Thought I would contribute to the thread for the first time... Hope the pics show up!

Socks JC or JCF
Shoes AE Brooks Brothers Strand

The red and blue are both darker hues, so I don't think it comes off as blatantly patriotic or something like that... Feedback welcome!

I've been waiting for a reason to wear a blazer to school on a non-presentation day for a while. It's still cool enough to not sweat to death, so I figured I'd give this cotton/linen blazer a whirl. It's spring after all.

Blazer: BR cotton/linen ($30 via eBay)
Shirt: JCF

@MarkB - love the dotted pocket square. Great contrast.
@Jake - Ugh. So very jealous of those McTavishes.

Agreed on both counts. MarkB, that jacket looks really nice and will likely be great for the warmer weather. Pairing it with jeans and that boldly patterned shirt (which I like a lot) is a great move.

Jake101, this whole thing just looks very sharp and kind of effortless, which is difficult to do (for me anyway). I think projecting that relaxed, comfortable in your own skin and clothes vibe is actually harder than putting together good looking outfits. Nice work here on both metrics.

@shomas thanks, it's probably the coffee. I usually put a little more effort in when I walk the streets of NYC as for the tie dimpling, I like to tighten the initial go-round, and when I'm pulling it through for the lat part, kinda use three fingers with the middle finger pushing in (making he dimple) and using the other fingers to pull up. Sounds weird typing but makes sense in person. Sheez.

@ Jake- I always wondered how people get good dimples in ties! Thanks!

Thanks, man. I know it's a fairly low-key get-up, but it's comfortable. Sometimes that counts too. LOL

Thanks, bud. I *really* like these shoes, especially at their price-point. Crazy good for the dough, IMO. I wore the boots version (Camlin) a ton in the winter, and somewhat recently broke out the shoes (Ashton) since it's getting nicer around these parts. Oh, and regarding the Rotary: GET ONE, HOMIE! They can be had very economically. Found mine at a local TJ Maxx for like $70 or so - and then my folks bought it for me for Christmas - now *that's* economical! Since that avenue is pretty hit & miss (TJ Maxx's inventory, I mean), seems like they are on ebay quite a little bit, too. Fellow dappered threaderizer "TheMimbo" snagged one from there recently.

@TomasR: I have a feeling you're one of, if not *the* best dressed dudes at your gig. Of course I have absolutely no way of knowing, but still,, your getups are always looking nice in these WIWT pics, man.

@MarkB: I too think the outfit looks just fine with those classic colors. I sure hope so, as I'm kinda wearing that palette today myself. LOL - Anyway, nice job - looks great!

@Mikey: "Weeeee" - LOL! - I really like your perspective, as well as your outfits, here in these WIWTs. Coolness. Also, it looks like you got the camera stabilizing/focusing kinks worked out. Nice!

@Lukeduke: Diggin the new kicks, man. And that Orient really pops in your pics. Looks great all the way 'round, brother. Hey speaking of brothers, how's Bo?

@Acousticfoodie: Gettin' a bit of your Mad Men groove on there, it seems. Looks cool, bud. Great look on you once again.

@sabrown: I'm afraid I'm not seeing any pics there, slick. Try just the following: I'll try it for ya right here, hope ya don't mind:

@MarkB - That jacket is really nice! However I do not agree on the pocket square, I think a plain one would have been better, a bit too much small pattern for my liking.

Gave the t-shirt and jacket look another try:

And finally got my Nexus 4 which means better pictures and a no spend April for me.
