If they're part of a rotation of shoes, I'm sure they'll last you. They seem to have soft soles so they may wear out quickly.

I've got a couple of their shoes and I'm happy with them for $49. I wouldn't pay retail for them knowing that I could get an AE seconds for $100 during one of their 2 for $200 sales.

In terms of quality, I would rank 1901 about the same as Bass. I bought a pair of dark burgundy colored suede lace-ups in January and they have held up, however, I have only worn them about 20ish times(the color is great for fall/winter, terrible for spring/summer).

Just looking at the construction, even if you wear them regularly, if you take care of them they should 2 years or so.

I have seen forums mentioning the 1901 shoes for casual wear. For the price, it is not bad but just wondering where it stands on the "pecking shoe order" of quality. Maybe a good alternative to bass bucks. Any opinions on the brand would help. thanks
