    A welcome code? I never got on of those.

    Is it a personal code or do you think it's something I can use on my next order?

      @Vicious49:

      I got the same blazer and had the same problem. I'm not skinny, but I've never had a jacket that fit my shoulders be so small on my midsection - and I generally wear a slimmer fit. Bummer, because it really seems like a nice blazer for the money. I sent it back earlier this week - though I'm not sure either if they just give store credit or an actual refund. Guess I'll find out soon enough.

        I ordered the navy Lawrence blazer in size 38R and it's been too long for me to return it to F&O so I'll take offers on it. Recently remeasured myself and I'm a 39 so I from now on I'll size up to 40 I guess.

          I universally wear a 36S (Banana, J.Crew, Alfani, Tommy H trim fit, etc.) and got the 36 in F&O. It was snug but doable in the shoulders, yet too small to button. The sleeves were VERY slim and perfect length. Unfortunately, if I sized up I'm afraid the sleeves would be too short...

          I emailed customer service for a return. They emailed me back with a shipping label. Within a week I had store credit on my account (received an email to confirm that).

            Snap, I missed out on those blazers and if it fits that snugly, it might work for me--I'm a 34S.

            Anyone have a 36R in navy or charcoal that doesn't fit them?

            @ZachL: If your's is too small and no one has a navy or charcoal, let me know if you'd like to sell me your tan one.

              Wish you'd seen my post last week... I tried passing it off before returning it!

              Now I'm not sure if I should try one again with the weird sizing scheme. Those are the best bang-for-buck items they sell, but such a weird fit.

                How has no one mentioned the ridiculous button stance? I tried a 42 and 44 (normally am a 40-42) and both of them buttoned at a point that was basically even with the bottom of my shirt pocket. It was not a good look.

                  @vicious I am a 39 chest. do you think it would fit?

                    ^^Doubt it! These jackets fit VERY slim and tapered. My 36 was more like a 35 in shoulders (comparably) and probably 34 around the buttons.

                      I think it's just due to the range of people's body sizes. I'm 5'8", 150lb, and a 37, with a slim/athletic build, and I pretty much fit their size 36 blazers. I also can fit their 38's as well, with the lone exception of their sleeves (which have functional cuffs), but I probably prefer the former because of this. I guess I have to since it would cost an arm and leg to tailor. The 36 does have a little pulling at the top button, maybe because of the high button stance (a con) right at the bottom of your sternum/breastbone, but I don't mind too much since I'm able to button it. For $50 bucks, though, it's extremely tough to find a blazer of this quality, and especially with that silhouette (high armholes, slim, tapered). Also, I've gotten a couple of shirts in small from them, and they probably fit better than any shirt in my wardrobe. I'm a big fan of this company. However, I can see why others wouldn't be; they're definitely catering to people on the slimmer side. They are only about half a year old, though, so hopefully they work out their shortcomings, like the minor ones with their blazers.

                        alexbun13, I'm pretty sure your cut of blazer was different than those of us that got the recent run of blazers. We seem to be about the same size (and this is me overweight / out of shape). There's no way I could even button the top button on the 36. Sizing up might work but the sleeves would be long.

                          I got the Evan Linen Blazer and Fitzgerald in Sterling (shawl collar) a couple of months ago, so yea I don't think I got the most recent ones. You're right about the sleeves; sizing up will not work for a lot/most people since the sleeves would probably be too long and it would be really expensive to tailor since they are functional. The blazers I got are kind of for summer season, so a lot of times I just leave them unbuttoned. I hope their fit is a bit better for fall/winter blazers if they come out with any.

                              It's weird that you can't normally browse to the non Lawrence blazers but if you view a Lawrence blazer it says "You may also like" and lists other blazers that it looks like you can order if you navigate that way. I've linked what I could find below, there may be a few more.

                                Those are all hunt club blazers except for the last one, which is oddly above their $50 mark.
