Fisherman sandals

So I've got some nasty-looking feet. And I don't like flip flops. But I do like the feel of a brisk wind wisping through my toes. So I plunked down $40 at JCPenny on these bad boys:

Before the flogging begins, I intend to wear these:

1. without socks.

2. with linen and lightweight pants.

3. at the beach, pool, outdoor restaurants and on a boat.


Am I now a style failure, an unwashed heathen cast away by his Dappered brethren to the lamest corner of cyberspace?
