I live in Pittsburgh, PA (South Hills) and have never gotten something tailored. Mostly there seems to be seamstresses around here. Any advice? Yelp has been worthless

How to find a tailor

A google search revealed quite a few. Here's a decent link to the top 5 tailors in Pittsburgh
http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/top-lists/best-tailors-in-pittsburgh/
A few suggestions.
1. Find the local higher end Men's suit store and call them to see oif they have any recommendations.
2. If you see a man with a good fitting suit, ask him where he got it tailored.
3. Call the local seamstresses and ask them for a men's tailor.
4. If all else fails, ask a deptartment store or Men's Warehouse where they sent thier tailoring. Oftentimes, they contract the work out to competent tailors. The reason why the tailoring is often poorly is that the sales people don't know how to make appropriate measurements.
