    Letting Out Corduroy Jacket

Weird as in stitch marks or fading? Or do you mean you’re concerned about the wale being misaligned or something? If the latter, no. If the former; Depends how much wear it has. If it’s new, no. Or it would at least be very minimal and would settle in fast. If it’s worn in, you may see some fading or stitch lines.

Corduroy shows “wear marks” easily, but it is also very resilient. I would guess it wouldn’t be anything that a good brushing and a few steams couldn’t mostly cover up over a bit of time.

If it’s the difference of you wearing it or not I wouldn’t be concerned about it too much.

Yes. If it were mine, I would save the alterations money and donate it.
