Thursday boot company - Captains in Natural. I've had these for 2.5 years. They've darkened a bit over time. My favorite pair of boots.

Love the way the Captains look. I ordered a pair in brown. I wish they fit me properly because they were beauties.

Before I learned that there is wisdom in investing in quality shoes many of my purchases were from DSW.

I really like the look of some of what I purchased there and if the quality is questionable they still help me feed my growing shoe obsession.

These are from Bullboxer who state they are of Dutch design and made in Portugal.

They reluctantly took some polish and are fairly comfortable.

AE Vancouver in brown CXL. Weatherproof and shearling-lined. Leather is coated in something, it seems. Much different than the Higgins Mill CXL. Nice for shoveling today:

This may be a silly question...but why don't you use the speed hooks?

Haha mostly because I was wearing overly thick socks and my feet were getting sweaty.... I figured lacing less would let me feet breathe more. I normally use the speed hooks though!
