Not any more, having had these for over three years now. They did dig into my heels/ankles a bit more than some other shoes I had during break-in but that eventually went away and I can comfortably wearing them all day now no problem. Do you have specific hotspots/trouble areas with them or do they just in general not agree with your feet?
I have the exact same issue you did. The digging in to my ankles. I guess I need to wear them more to break them in. But it's a catch 22. I don't wear the shoes because they are uncomfortable, but for them to get comfortable I need to wear them. <sigh>
I have nothing interesting to add except to say that I just ordered my first really expensive shoes (shell cordovan boots) and am looking forward to sharing them here if they work out
Practically living in my new AE Kenwood loafers lately. I had a Vibram sole put on the front though (the slippery leather almost got me killed a couple of times)
