Wife bought me these couple days ago, first day wearing them.



Wolverine "1000 Mile Collection" Luke boot from DSW (an "exclusive"). Made in Mexico instead of the US, but still GYW and decent leather.

I'm an 8E/W (with high right instep) and was actually very surprised how well these fit in an 8D. Footbed is leather (not sure what the midsole/filler is) and very comfortable under my flat feet. I'd say these are right up there in fit and comfort with my suede AE Saukville boots in 8E (511 last), which are my most comfortable boot by far.

I usually have a problem with boots (and shoes) being way too tight on my right instep, especially where the tongue meets the vamp (the throat I guess is what it's called?) So I size half up when wide isn't available (which is most of the time) But these boots have the throat a bit higher up and seem to have a higher instep because they've been nothing but comfortable, plus they fit in length perfectly.

All in all, very happy with fit and comfort. We'll see how they hold up. Not bad for just under $100.
