I recently bought a pair of Lerwick oxford shoe for men by Barker. I am quite happy with the quality and the durability of the product, their fitting is also superb and no disappointment with the price of the product, they are totally worth it.

No sir this is Horween's Bourbon. Same as you'd get from C&J or Carmina or anyone else who uses Horween shell. Though my calf Daltons are AE bourbon, albeit a couple batches back.

Bourbon shell Strands from the latest trunk show. Not much to shining them, of course, but i think they look ok.

AE First Avenue. Black calf on this pair.

There's another shell show coming up.

    I'm screwed. :P

Not to let Sergeant Horseyhead have all the fun:

This was done on a new pair of Cobbler Unions by going over cap with an extra dry lump of Kiwi, with a spritz of 30% isopranpol to loosen it up a bit and get it to smear evenly across the surface, followed by a lot of elbow grease. Subsequent layers were done using AE store brand carnauba wax, which is probably the best stuff I've ever used for bringing out the mirror. Just as good Saphir at 1/3 the price. I can't tell who makes it; it doesn't smell like any brand name polish I have, and the store manager didn't know either.

I did go over things with a layer or three of precious Saphir but it probably wasn't necessary.

mebejoseph, Cobbler Union might be my new favorite shoe brand. Thanks for the constant recommendations! This 888 last is sleek and ever so slightly chiseled but without the exaggerated European-ness. Very reminiscent of Carmina's Rain, only this was comfortable instantly for me, whereas Rain usually hurts for the first several wears before suddenly breaking in.

Yeah those are broadstreets. See more of those this week from another location.

    Rockin my Lauderdales today.

Great job! Glad you're enjoying your Cobbler Union shoes. I like the quilted insoles. I do love my CU shoes. But they mostly sit in the dust bags right now.
