Older dude, visits goth clubs, spiked tuxedo loafers, snake skin shoes, balmorals with gold cap toes, and throw in (what I picture as awful) bicycle toe shoes.

Seems like we need some fit pics of yours!!! I can't be the only one thinking of this.
What is a fit pic? I don't want to hijack this thread, but I suppose I could post some photos in the WIWT thread. And btw, I'm going to an event where I can wear the spiked tuxedo slippers this weekend.
WHY ARE THE GUYS IN SUITS HERE? HAS SOMETHING GONE WRONG?

        Love these!

Man just realized I how many pairs I have - 20+!

I like having options - it's like opening a fridge and seeing a variety of beverages for whatever moment life brings. There are probably 10 that I keep in some regular rotation, others like my BR single monks (in three colors!) that I wear with suits often.

Methinks I should donate some, now that I think about it and keep only the most comfortable.

Too many but I only buy nice barely worn (but rarely ‘new’ ones from Dabondo1 or factory 2nd on big sale + Amex reward. Average price ~$80 per shoe:
                    -Brown longwing blucher (AE Leiden)
                    -Oxblood wingtip oxford (MacNeil)
-Brown semi-brogue oxford (dark chili 5th ave)
                    -Walnut plain toe oxford (Carlyle)
-Black oxford with questionable perfing (Hale)
-Black bit loafer (Vernon’s II - for Corleone days)
                    -Walnut grain driving loafer (Daytona)
-Dark Brown cap toe blucher (Kudu Oak Street)
                    -Walnut Chelsea (Liverpool)
                    -Brown work boot (Higgins Mill)
-Brown medallion toe oxford dress boot (First street)
                    -Brown sues chukka (AE/massdrop)
-Taupe suede chukka w/ crepe sole (J crew)
                    -Beeswax Brown chukka (Bushacre 2)

Engineering consulting so slightly more dressed up than the customer but just dressier business casual. The oxfords see use with wool slacks, and the bluchers I wear with chinos. Fifth ave only for suits outside of work, black oxfords for rare dark suit, and the brown chromoexcel boots w/ thick wool socks are my favorite fall/winter. The kudu Brown bluchers have Dainite sole, so they’re nice in wet conditions.

Almost checking all the boxes. I might have a shoe problem.

                      [x] Balmorals plain/cap toe
                      [x] Balmorals with brouging
                      [x] Bluchers plain/cap toe
                      [x] Bluchers with brouging
[] Dress Boots (lace up boots e.g., AE Daltons)
[x] Work Boots (e.g., red wing)
                      [] Chelsea Boots
[x] Chukkas (ones other than desert boots)
                      [] Desert Boots
[x] Monk straps (single and double)
                      [x] Loafers
[x] Other dress shoes (spectators, pumps, Wholecuts, etc): Saddle Oxfords
[x] Sneakers (don't include ones you wear to exercise)

Other: Cowboy Boots, but they are dressy cowboy boots, so although they’re not lace up, would I put them under dress boots?

It's only a problem if you call it one.
