      Also 4:
      Balmorals (plain)
      Balmorals (brogue)
      Dress boots
      Sneakers (Converse chucks)

I prefer closed lacing, even casually, so I don't own any bluchers. I am considering adding a pair of work boots or chukkas though.

        PTB
        Blucher with brogueing
        Balmoral cap toe
        Sneakers

I have steel-toe work shoes, but not work boots. The only pair of boots I have are Tingley neoprene boots. Both of those are more like safety tools than a style. It's like I don't wear steel-mesh gloves as a style, either.

I am missing chukkas, desert boots, and monk straps. My go to are my Dalton's for denim or some semi-brogues in either calf or suede.

            Chukkas
            Monk straps (single)

Wow. Until this post I didn't realize how shoe crazy I've gone. And I still want one more pair.

                balmoral cap toe
                bluchers w/ brouguing (2 - 1 medium brown, 1 dark brown)
                Chukkas (2 - 1 suede, 1 leather)
                desert boots
                monk straps - single
                Dress Boot
                loafers
                sneakers
                bucks
                boat shoes

6 different styles, I believe only 1 pair within each style (outside of one old pair of plain/cap toes for rain, snow, etc. workdays):
                  Balmorals with brouging
                  Bluchers plain/cap toe
                  Work Boots (e.g., red wing)
                  Desert Boots
                  Monk straps (single and double)
                  Sneakers

                    Balmorals plain/cap toe
                    Balmorals with brouging
                    Bluchers plain/cap toe
                    Bluchers with brouging
Dress Boots (JCP Deacons & Gunners)
                    Work Boots (Timberland)
                    Chukkas (dainite sole)
                    Monk straps (double)
                    Loafers
                    Sneakers

                    I think I have a problem...

Everything on that list except Chelseas and monkstraps, add in wholecuts, boat shoes, and sandals.

I like this question: requires some reflection and thoughts about the future!

[] Balmorals plain/cap toe: 1 pair cheap black captoes
[] Balmorals with brouging: 1 pair AE Strands
[] Bluchers plain/cap toe: 1 pair cheap suede Bucks
[] Bluchers with brouging: 1 short wing, 2 long wings
                        [] Dress Boots: none
[] Work Boots: Bean Katahdin and Timberland Premium
                        [] Chelsea Boots: nope
                        [] Chukkas:no
                        [] Desert Boots: uh-uh
                        [] Monk straps: nein
                        [] Loafers: no sir.
[] Other dress shoes: 1 pair Suede Saddle Shoes
                        [] Sneakers: 4 pair

I have to add one pair of winter boots and 1 pair of moc-toe shoes.

So 15 pairs (that's not too many) but only 9 styles.

I'm really not a loafer guy, mostly because I have never found one that actually fits me well. Being a B width, with high arches, stuff's either WAY too constrictive/tight and extremely uncomfortable as soon as it's on, or it's way too roomy and slips all over the place.

Haven't really found a brogued blucher I dig on as of yet. Maybe someday.

This all made me realize I have the same style in all my sneakers: Stan Smith knock off style.

Perhaps I should buy some GATs or some such thing.

Everything aside from desert boots (I guess this is just a chukka with a crepe sole? Oddly specific). Don't see myself getting desert boots as the AE x MD chukkas serve the casual chukka role well.

It's interesting to see people's tastes. Unsurprisingly AE is very well represented.
