    Noooo Timex Weekender accident

Hi all, I just dropped my new Timex Weekender and the back popped off any ideas how to put it back on, or is superglue going to be my new best friend?

Unless something broke it should screw back on. If you don't have a watch case opener http://www.amazon.com/Opener-Wrench-.../dp/B001PQNVOK take it to any jewlery store or mall kiosk and they can do it for you.

There should have been a rubber gasket, make sure you put that back it or you will lose any water resistance.

Dress for style, live for results.

The Weekenders don't have screw-on casebacks, just press-on casebacks (at least, the slip-thru versions do... not sure about the leather strap versions). Use a small brush to try to clean out any debris that may have gotten into the caseback. If you happen to own any silicone or dielectric grease, you might want to lubricate the gasket on the caseback a little (if it even has a gasket... I have no idea). Don't use petroleum-based greases, which will just erode the gasket. Then just pop the caseback back on, and press down firmly until it snaps in. You will want to press it down on some kind of towel or cloth so that you don't scratch the front of the watch.

If it happens to be a screw-on caseback (which you will be able to see by the presence of small square divets around the outside edge of the caseback, as well as the screw threads), it will probably just be easiest to take it to a jeweler or watch repair person and ask them to screw it on, as tomservo mentioned. Otherwise you will have to buy your own caseback tool and do it yourself.
