    How to wear casual blazer?

Would you wear a casual unstructured blazer like the one linked below with jeans only, or can you also wear it with Chinos/Khakis and a dress shirt? Hopefully, not a dumb question. :-)

I bought that particular Merona blazer when it was on sale for $35 based on a recommendation I saw in another thread here, and I could not be happier with the fit. I think I read here that it didn't work out for some, but the M fits me perfectly (6'0",175lbs,40R) with no alterations needed. I can't find the thread where I read about it but I'm really happy that it was recommended.

I would say either is fine, although a navy blazer with dark jeans might be a little monochromatic.

You can totally wear it with chinos and a dress shirt. A really dressy shirt (with French cuffs for example) would be out of place with in this look, though.

Although I don't own that particular blazer, that look is my go-to for work in the spring and autumn. I also wear a tie with it.

I wouldn't wear it with wool trousers and a nice dress shirt, but I think you can definitely dress it up with cords, chinos or non-denim jeans, a slightly more casual shirt (something with a pattern or a button-down collar, etc.), and maybe even a casual tie. Just make sure to try to keep all the elements balanced - everything should be smart casual, not super formal (solid silk tie) or overly relaxed (distressed jeans).

          "How to wear casual blazer?"

First, you throw the blazer around your back, and slide the left arm into the left sleeve... j/k j/k j/k

No casual blazers must be put on right arm first... duh

Thanks ColoradoGuy! The Merona Blazer that I bought is actually #17 of the slideshow on your second link. I guess I'm surprised that such a cheap blazer was featured on GQ.

                    Casual blazer: blaze casually.

Casual jackets, on the other hand, are another forum altogether.
