Now that Spring is in full swing in Michigan, i've been hunting for a gray lightweight cotton or linen blazer to wear at work or out on the town. My usual stomping grounds (J.Crew, BR, GAP, etc) haven't yielded anything promising, so i've decided to see if any of ya'll have come across anything like this during your hunts.

I just picked up the linen blazer in navy from H&M. I think it came out to about $60, and I definitely saw it in tan, and near a bunch of similar grey blazers (didn't check to see if they were linen though, sorry). There was a thread about it a while back, I think overall consensus was positive.

I tried on that H&M linen blazer. It looked pretty nice in grey and I might have bought it had the checkout line not been so long that day. They also sell matching pants if you want a cheap linen suit. However I'm not super sure about the quality.

BR and Gap are both selling lightweight cotton blazers right now.
INC has one out. I found a light gray in store, the light gray is not sold online right now. I also bought the matching pants. The jacket has virtually no shoulder padding, high armholes and a slim countour. The pants are a bit baggy.

I bought the H&M linen blazer and pants in the light gray. It looks and fits great. The quality may be suspect. But as long as you are ot wearing everyday, then it should last at least 2 seasons.

That BR blazer looks fantastic... i'll be keeping my eye open for coupons/sales though, the price is a bit rich for my purposes.
I think i'll be hitting up one of the local H&Ms this weekend to hunt for some jackets, then. My basic black jacket is holding up very well for bi-weekly use at work for about a year, but the elbows are starting to show their age.

I have a light grey linen blazer from H&M that my sisters got me as a gift a few years ago. Was only something like $60-$80. Surprisingly, it fits really well.

eBay. I got a Vestimenta linen blazer, unlined and unstructured, for under $40 shipped. Vestimenta is an Italian maker that makes the Giorgio Armani line. I also got an Ermengildo Zegna unlined cotton one for around the same price... It may be available if it's too small (size 50EU).

FYI: While that gray BR sports coat is very nice, it's actually pretty heavy. It won't be getting much, if any, wear from me during the summer.
