An alternative to the Wakefield Chrono recently showcased on "Most Wanted" article?

    https://dappered.com/2016/09/most-wa...eptember-2016/

In reference to the above article. I love the design of the Fossil Wakefield Chrono, but at 45mm, it's a bit oversized for me. Is there any similar styled watches that come in 40mm? I have an Orient Bambino, which is 40mm, and it's the perfect size for me.

    Any help would be appreciated!

The Bambino is listed by Orient as 40.5mm without the crown, but you'll see most places go ahead and list it as 41mm since it (IMO) wears slightly large for its size.

What is your price range? I see that Wakefield Chrono is $55 now, but listed regularly as $135.

I've recently gotten into more expensive watches, but I am still a huge fan of Tissot as a cheaper option. Here is one I came across...

Also this Citizen is somewhat similar...

    Money not a problem?

Your main issue is that the Fossil Wakefield Chrono is a chronograph with a dive bezel. Unfortunately, those are going to run large. For some reason, men's watches have grown exponentially in the recent decades. A chronograph function or a dive bezel is guaranteed to add size on top of that, and when you add both, it's even larger. I've had trouble finding any cheap brands that make decent sized watches these days, especially divers and chronographs.

I suggest going somewhere like Joma Shop and using the filter options to view all of their men's chronographs or men's divers.
