Loving my new Nomos Tangente 38 datum. I wanted a more elegant watch that worked better with more elegant clothing. Been wearing a Seiko 5KX on a NATO the last year -- always looked off with a sport coat. Used to have a Submariner, but could never get over the Rolex "baggage" (although I know it is a superb, amazing watch). I wanted a dress(yish) watch that was manual wind and had a date. Love Nomos.

New lizard strap for the old LeCoultre wind-up watch. I popped off the back to straighten the dial a bit - I can't do justice to how cool the movement looks, even with all of the metal aging and discoloring.

I debated for some time whether to chase a birth year DJ but decided I'd always want a new one regardless.

Thanks. Yes, it was completely covered under warranty. This particular model has had some issues with the date wheel stopping between dates or skipping dates. It's unfortunate, but a few weeks at the service center, and it's good to go again.
